泌尿生殖道感染支原体后，引起的疾病男性为非淋菌性尿道炎，女性主要为非淋菌泌尿生殖道炎。
女性一旦查出患有支原体衣原体感染，一定要及时去医院检查治疗
1、衣原体培养：培养法的方法较复杂，但极少有假阳性，所以诊断率高。
2、直接荧光抗体检测：操作容易，特异性好，特别是在检测子宫内膜和输卵管等部位的感染时较培养法敏感。
3、酶标免疫反应：具有快速、方便、廉价和检测批量化的优势。
